As the F&B Head - Banquets at Della Adventure and Resorts, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of banquet events while upholding the highest standards of service excellence. You will oversee all aspects of food and beverage service for banquets, including planning, coordination, and execution, to ensure the satisfaction of our discerning clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

Banquet Operations Management:

Plan, organize, and supervise all banquet events, including weddings, conferences, corporate events, and social gatherings.
Coordinate with the sales team and clients to understand event requirements and preferences, ensuring all details are meticulously executed.
Supervise banquet setup, staffing, and service to ensure smooth operations and adherence to established standards.


Team Leadership and Training:

Lead and motivate a team of banquet staff, including servers, bartenders, and support staff, to deliver exceptional service.
Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills and product knowledge of banquet service personnel.
Set performance standards, provide feedback, and address any issues or concerns to maintain a high level of team morale and efficiency.


Quality Assurance:

Maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, presentation, and service delivery in line with the resort's brand reputation.
Conduct regular inspections of banquet facilities and equipment to ensure cleanliness, safety, and functionality.
Address any customer complaints or service issues promptly and effectively, striving for resolution and guest satisfaction.


Financial Management:

Monitor banquet expenses, including staffing, supplies, and equipment, to ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.
Implement cost-control measures without compromising on service quality or guest experience.
Maximize revenue opportunities through upselling, menu engineering, and effective pricing strategies.


Collaboration and Communication:

Foster positive relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth coordination and execution of banquet events.
Communicate effectively with other departments, such as culinary, housekeeping, and maintenance, to ensure seamless integration of services and resources.
Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on banquet performance, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.


Job Expectations:

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related field (preferred).
2. Proven experience in banquet operations management within the hospitality industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in top brands.
3. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
4. Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
5. In-depth knowledge of food and beverage service standards, banquet setup, and event planning processes.
6. Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office and hospitality management software.
7. Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
8. Certification in food safety and sanitation practices (preferred).


Minimum Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related field (preferred).

Minimum Job Experience:

Proven experience in banquet operations management within the hospitality industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in top brands.
