Primary Purpose
Ensures the satisfaction of guests throughout their stay at the hotel by responding efficiently to their inquiries and offering advice and information as requested
Major skills and accountabilities of position (4-6 major accountabilities)
1. Should have proficiency in MS Office and Knowledge of electronic hotel reservation system.
2. Should have excellent communication, excellent grooming and customer service skills.
3. Should have knowledge of EPBX systems.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Should welcome guests on arrival and ensure smooth check in and check out process as per company standards.
2. Should address guest queries on rooms, food, local attractions and current promotional activities.
3. Should be able to maximize room occupancy and use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities.
4. Comply with Hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
5. Execute tasks as assigned
Work relations (context - main interfaces - functional report)
1. Reports to FOM.
2. Interfaces strongly with guests and departmental employees.
Experience and qualifications required for the job
Should be a Hotel Management Graduate or equivalent. Experience in hotel, leisure with experience of 2-3 years. Previous role as an Associate Front Office or of a similar profile in a five star hotel.
