Believe in Design

Della places a lot of emphasis on concept-based democratic designs, extensively researched and heavily debated, striving to enhance and uplift the lives of as many people as possible. We have worked on numerous projects in the past, and have created luxury through the medium of design with the help of a brilliant network of talent and support.

Our designs are validated by our conscience on the ecological implications and add a new dimension of global design to all the services we provide. Careful observation of the world, of the continual evolution of modern society and culture, is the heart of Della's design creativity and modernity.

Community Impact

Della believes in giving back to the communities where we live and work, and supports various charitable organizations. We truly believe in talent training and aim at closing global employment gaps.

Della uses its skills in areas such as food production, housekeeping and laundry to develop and train 'raw' people to enable them to earn their livelihood; we train underprivileged locals in hospitality, self-grooming and housekeeping. Serving the community is central to our core values.

Local Talent

We are a collection of many smaller, local footprints. Our goal is to hire talent locally: Della has 650+ locals working with us at Lonavala. Della believes in the importance of being connected to the local community, and we look to hire people with compelling connections to a particular location.

We are building a school for the locals in Lonavala, helping deprived children with their right to education. In our own small way, we also contribute to various charities and foundations, such as hosting the Vatsalya Foundation boys, HPY and MayQueen youth each year at Lonavala.

Design for society

Using our design expertise, we contribute to society: restoring the Rustom Framna Agiary in Dadar, setting up the Dadgah Saheb (fire temple) so all community members can seek blessings and be part of the agiary, the lighting concept for Siddhivinayak Mandir, and interiors for the Worli and Gamdevi police stations.

Mr Jimmy Mistry, ex-trustee of the Bombay Parsi Panchayat, has been deeply involved in uplifting the Parsi society, financially and by helping solve its problems. We take continuous steps to foster independence among Parsi communities and address their needs on a long-term basis.

At Della, we believe in building a community that thrives on fun and creativity while spurring teamwork and innovative thinking.

Fun @ Work

At Della, we are rather serious about fun! A fun-filled workplace is what the Della Group and all its offices, be it at Mumbai, Lonavala or Daman, provides.

Since we all spend a substantial part of our lives in office, the organization decided to bring recreation into the workplace. Our employees enjoy a weekly Zumba, Salsa or yoga class with their colleagues, with break time leading to karaoke at the café, or a foosball match.

Our facility is equipped with a music listening station, PlayStation and an LCD television, and a library full of books, magazines and CDs for those who like to read. For the sporty or the adventurous, there is carom and a dartboard. Apart from entertainment, the café is used for informal meetings, extensive research and brainstorming sessions.

Events and festivals

Beside meetings and events, our calendar is filled with the numerous festivals the organization celebrates together, such as the Ganesh and Diwali Pooja, the Christmas party or Eid al-Fitr. As Indians, all our offices proudly hoist the national flag on Independence and Republic Day, and for the passionate kind we have Environment Day and Valentine's Day, which keep our offices very lively.

To celebrate the Della Group anniversary, 12th June each year holds an event followed by a party. Other group events are the annual team outing to Daman, a fun-filled Employee's Day at the Adventure Park, or an employee fashion show.
