Primary Purpose
Is responsible for managing overall daily operations of the Laundry Room to deliver an excellent Guest experience while ensuring quality controls and guest inquiries.
Skills & Major accountabilities of position (4-6 major accountabilities)
1. Should have good communication skills and organisational and planning skills.
2. Should be a computer literate, knowledge of related property software.
3. Working knowledge of the operation and care of commercial machines.
4. Understanding of various cleaning agents and their proper usage and safety protocols.
5. Should be accountable and spirited.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Should works in close co-ordination with the Laundry Executive and prepares working schedule for staff to ensure highest efficiency of time utilization.
2. Should maintain the highest standard of Guest Laundry and House Laundry at all times and straighten out any discrepancy in guest laundry.
3. Should train new employees to meet Hotel standards and follow SOP’s.
4. Ensures that all laundry equipment and machines are periodically maintained by the Engineering Department.
5. Should ensure par stocks are maintained and take receipt of stock and ensure safe storage.
6. Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
7. Communicate with clients or staff regarding laundry needs or concerns.
8. Should perform additional assignments as given by the management.
Experience and qualifications required for the job
Bachelor’s degree with atleast 2-3 years of previous experience in good five star hotels.
Should have worked in laundry as Laundry Technician.
