Position Overview
The Head – Accounts & Compliances will be responsible for end-to-end financial management, internal controls, and all statutory and regulatory compliances for Della Resorts & Adventure. The role demands a seasoned professional who has managed a large hotel operation of 300+ keys with excellent turnover, high transaction volumes, and complex business verticals. A Chartered Accountant with hospitality exposure will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Accounting & Reporting
• Oversee maintenance of books of accounts as per Indian GAAP and company policies.
• Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage consolidation of revenues from rooms, F&B, adventure park, banquets, and retail.
• Monitor budgeting, forecasting, cash flows, and fund planning.
• Drive MIS reporting with profitability analysis and cost optimization.
2. Statutory Compliances
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, Profession Tax, and other laws.
• Liaison with statutory auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities.
• Handle assessments, filings, and responses to notices.
• Monitor transfer pricing and related party compliance where applicable.
3. Internal Controls & Audit
• Design and implement SOPs across income audit, purchase, stores, and payables.
• Supervise internal audit and revenue leakage controls.
• Ensure reconciliation of OTA, POS, PMS, and bank accounts.
• Strengthen fraud prevention mechanisms in high-volume environment.
4. Treasury & Working Capital
• Manage vendor payments, debtor control, and credit policy.
• Optimize inventory valuation and capex controls.
• Oversee payroll accounting and expense governance.
5. Legal & Regulatory Governance
• Compliance with Companies Act, board reporting, and secretarial requirements.
• Contract reviews with commercial and tax perspective.
• Risk management and compliance calendar ownership.
6. Team Leadership
• Lead and mentor the accounts & compliance team.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with operations, F&B, purchase, and sales.
• Build high-performance culture aligned to Della values.

Qualifications & Experience
• Chartered Accountant (CA).
• 10–15 years of post-qualification experience in hospitality / large hotel.
