Job Summary

Della Townships is seeking a seasoned Head – Accounts & Compliance to lead and oversee the entire finance, accounting, taxation, and statutory compliance function for its luxury real estate and township projects. The role requires strong leadership, deep domain expertise in real estate accounting, and hands-on experience with regulatory frameworks, audits, and financial controls.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Finance & Leadership
• Head the Accounts & Compliance function for DELLA Townships
• Develop and implement financial policies, SOPs, and internal controls
• Provide strategic financial insights to senior management for decision-making
• Lead, mentor, and manage the accounts and compliance team

Accounting & Financial Management
• Oversee end-to-end accounting for township and luxury real estate projects
• Ensure accurate maintenance of books of accounts, ledgers, and financial records
• Review and approve monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Monitor project-wise budgets, cash flows, cost controls, and profitability
• Oversee vendor payments, receivables, and bank reconciliations

Statutory, Tax & Regulatory Compliance
• Ensure full compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, and other applicable laws
• Oversee timely filing of returns, assessments, and statutory submissions
• Handle RERA compliance, real estate-specific statutory filings, and documentation
• Coordinate with tax consultants, auditors, and regulatory authorities

Audit, Risk & Governance
• Lead statutory audits, tax audits, internal audits, and address audit observations
• Strengthen risk management frameworks and ensure compliance with internal controls
• Ensure readiness for regulatory inspections and assessments
• Drive continuous improvement in financial governance and compliance practices

Real Estate & Township Expertise
• Oversee accounting and compliance for multiple township projects
• Review and manage joint development agreements, lease structures, and vendor contracts from a finance perspective
• Support legal and project teams in financial due diligence and regulatory matters

• In-depth knowledge of GST, Direct & Indirect Taxation, RERA, and labor compliances
• Strong command over ERP systems, Tally, and advanced Excel
• Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability

 


Minimum Qualification:

CA / MBA Finance / M.Com

Minimum Job Experience:

12–18+ years of experience in real estate or luxury township projects
