Job Summary:
Della Resorts & Adventure is seeking a proactive, disciplined, and experienced Head of Security to lead and manage all security operations across the resort and allied facilities. The ideal candidate will come with a strong background in top-tier hospitality brands and possess exceptional crisis management skills, guest sensitivity, and a strategic approach to safety and risk mitigation in a luxury environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Security Operations & Risk Management
• Lead and manage 24x7 security operations across the resort, villas, and public areas.
• Develop, implement, and monitor SOPs for all security protocols, emergency procedures, and disaster management plans.
• Ensure high standards of guest safety while maintaining the welcoming and non-intrusive nature of a luxury environment.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and proactively address vulnerabilities.
Leadership & Team Management
• Recruit, train, and supervise a professional security team including in-house staff and third-party vendors.
• Conduct regular training in guest-sensitive security protocols, first aid, emergency response, fire safety, and crowd management.
• Foster a culture of vigilance, responsiveness, and professionalism across the security workforce.
Guest & VIP Security
• Oversee protection plans for VIP guests, corporate clients, and high-profile events hosted at the property.
• Work closely with guest relations and events teams to ensure secure, smooth operations without compromising luxury experience.
Surveillance & Technology
• Manage and oversee all electronic security systems including CCTV, access control, perimeter surveillance, and alarm systems.
• Keep up to date with modern security technologies and recommend upgrades when needed.
Compliance & Liaison
• Ensure full compliance with all legal, fire, safety, and occupational health regulations.
• Maintain strong coordination with local law enforcement agencies, fire departments, and emergency services.
• Investigate incidents and maintain detailed incident reports, logs, and MIS records for audits and internal reporting.
Key Requirements:
• 10+ years of progressive experience in hotel/resort security, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
• Prior experience with renowned top hospitality brands.
• Background in security forces (Army/Navy/Police/Paramilitary) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of guest-sensitive security in high-end luxury environments.
• Excellent crisis management, leadership, and communication skills.
• Certification in fire safety, disaster management, and first aid preferred.


Minimum Qualification:

Minimum qualification, Graduate with experience in similar role in hospitality industry

Minimum Job Experience:

10+ years of progressive experience in hotel/resort security, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role
