Role Overview:
The Investment Manager is responsible for raising capital, managing investor relationships, structuring investment transactions, and overseeing financial planning and reporting to support the organization’s growth and investment objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Fund Raising
• Identify and evaluate potential funding opportunities from institutional investors, private equity firms, banks, and high-net-worth individuals.
• Lead end-to-end fund-raising activities including pitch preparation, negotiations, and closure.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external advisors to support capital-raising initiatives.
2. Investor Relations
• Act as the primary point of contact for existing and prospective investors.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with investors through regular communication, updates, and meetings.
• Prepare and present investment proposals, performance updates, and strategic plans to investors.
3. Transaction Management & Structuring
• Manage and execute corporate financial transactions including equity, debt, and hybrid funding structures.
• Structure investment and financing transactions, evaluating deal terms, financial models, and risk-return profiles.
• Coordinate due diligence activities and work closely with legal, tax, compliance, and advisory teams to ensure smooth execution of transactions.
• Ensure transactions are completed within timelines and in compliance with regulatory and internal policies.
4. Financial Planning, Budgeting & MIS Reporting
• Develop and manage annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial projections aligned with business and investment strategies.
• Monitor actual performance against budgets and forecasts; analyze variances and provide actionable insights.
• Prepare MIS reports, management dashboards, and investor presentations on a periodic basis.
• Ensure accuracy, transparency, and compliance with applicable financial reporting standards.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Prior experience in investor relations and transaction structuring preferred
• Strong financial modelling, budgeting, and analytical skills
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight timelines
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
