Role Overview:
The Senior Manager – Hospitality Projects will be responsible for end-to-end execution of resort construction works within the Della Township – Racecourse Project, Pune. This role will lead the planning, coordination, and on-site execution of hospitality assets including resort rooms/villas, banquet halls, restaurants, kitchens, back-of-house (BOH) areas, landscaping interfaces, and external works.
The role requires strong expertise in hospitality construction standards, premium finishes, services coordination (MEP), vendor/contractor management, quality control, safety, and timely delivery aligned with Della brand and guest experience standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Hospitality Construction Execution (Resort Development)
• Lead execution of hospitality project works including:
o Resort rooms / suites / villas
o Banquet halls, pre-function areas, lounges
o Restaurants, cafés, bars and guest amenities
o Reception/lobby, corridors, lift lobbies, washrooms
o Back-of-house (BOH) areas: kitchens, stores, staff areas, laundry, service corridors
• Ensure work execution as per approved architectural drawings, interior concepts, and brand guidelines.
• Coordinate with design teams for site-level constructability and detailing requirements.
2) Premium Finishes & Guest Experience Delivery
• Drive high-quality execution of luxury finishing works including:
o Marble/stone flooring, wooden flooring, tiling and cladding
o False ceiling systems, acoustic ceilings (banquet)
o Decorative lighting provisions and feature elements
o Paint/polish works, wallpapers, textured finishes
o Washroom finishes (premium fixtures, partitions, vanity units)
o Doors, windows, glass partitions, hardware and accessories
• Ensure detailing accuracy and uniformity across rooms and public areas.
• Maintain mock-up approvals and finish benchmarks.
3) Banquet, Restaurant & Kitchen Execution
• Execute banquet hall requirements including:
o Acoustic treatment, lighting grids, stage area, AV provisions
o Fire safety compliance and occupancy standards
• Oversee restaurant execution including:
o Service flow, seating layouts, washroom access, décor integration
• Coordinate kitchen construction and services:
o Kitchen equipment layout coordination
o Grease traps, drainage slopes, exhaust and fresh air systems
o Gas bank/pipeline coordination, fire suppression systems
o BOH logistics and compliance requirements
4) MEP Coordination (Critical for Hospitality)
• Ensure seamless integration of MEP systems across rooms, banquet and restaurants:
o HVAC systems, chilled water/VRF interfaces
o Electrical panels, lighting controls, ELV systems
o Plumbing, drainage, hot water systems, STP connections
o Firefighting and fire alarm systems
• Coordinate between civil, interiors and MEP contractors for openings, sleeves, shafts and service routes.
• Ensure testing, commissioning, and system handover readiness.
5) Contractor, Vendor & Package Management
• Appoint and manage contractors for:
o Civil and finishing works
o Interiors, joinery, carpentry
o Façade, glazing and external finishes
o MEP packages and specialist vendors
• Ensure vendor alignment with quality, timelines and execution methodology.
• Conduct weekly review meetings, monitor manpower, and track productivity.
6) Planning, Scheduling & Delivery
• Prepare and monitor detailed execution schedules for:
o Room handovers (floor-wise / block-wise)
o Banquet/restaurant completion milestones
o BOH and service area readiness
• Track progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to avoid delays.
• Ensure timely readiness for inspections, snagging, and soft opening timelines.
7) Quality Assurance & Snag Closure
• Implement strict QA/QC for hospitality finishes and services.
• Ensure quality documentation: WIR/MIR, checklists, testing records.
• Lead snagging, punch-list closure and final handover process.
• Reduce rework through proactive inspections and finish mock-up approvals.
8) Cost & Material Control
• Ensure effective material planning and inventory control for hospitality finishes.
• Monitor consumption vs BOQ and minimize wastage.
• Support billing verification and RA certification with QS/contracts team.
• Identify cost optimization opportunities without compromising brand standards.
9) Safety, Compliance & Site Discipline
• Ensure compliance with safety norms across construction areas.
• Coordinate with safety team for audits, toolbox talks, and safe work practices.
• Ensure compliance with hospitality-related statutory requirements and fire norms.
Required Qualifications
• B.E./B.Tech – Civil Engineering (Mandatory)
• Diploma/Certification in Construction Management / Hospitality Project Execution preferred
• Knowledge of interior execution and finishing standards is a strong advantage
• 10–15 years overall experience in construction/project execution
• Minimum 5–8 years in hospitality/resort/hotel construction projects (mandatory)
• Proven experience delivering:
• Guest rooms / villas
• Restaurants / kitchens / BOH areas
• Banquet halls / public areas
• Strong experience in premium finishing and MEP coordination
• Experience in township/large-format projects is preferred
• Strong understanding of hospitality execution standards and detailing
• Expertise in finishing works, material selection, and quality control
• Ability to interpret drawings, BOQ, and interior detail drawings
• Strong knowledge of MEP coordination for hospitality spaces
