Job Summary
The Fire Alarm System Technician will be responsible for installation, inspection, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems and related safety equipment across the resort premises. The role ensures compliance with safety regulations and uninterrupted operation of fire detection and alarm systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Install, program, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems and associated equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance as per safety standards.
• Diagnose faults and perform corrective actions promptly.
• Ensure all fire alarm systems comply with local fire safety regulations and codes.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, inspection reports, and service documentation.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors when required.
• Support emergency response activities related to fire safety systems.
• Assist in conducting fire drills and safety training sessions.
• Monitor system upgrades and recommend improvements where necessary.
Qualifications & Skills
• ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or relevant technical field.
• 3–5 years of experience in fire alarm system maintenance (hospitality experience preferred).
• Knowledge of conventional and addressable fire alarm systems.
• Familiarity with fire panels, detectors, MCPs, hooters, and control modules.
• Understanding of fire safety codes and statutory compliance requirements.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in shifts and respond to emergencies when required.
Preferred Competencies
• Certification in Fire & Safety (added advantage).
• Experience working in hotels, resorts, or large commercial properties.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• High attention to detail and safety-oriented mindset.


Minimum Qualification:

ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or relevant technical field.

Minimum Job Experience:

3–5 years of experience in fire alarm system maintenance (hospitality experience preferred)
