Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Urban Designer with a strong background in luxury township master planning and proven experience working with international clients and global consultants. The candidate will play a key leadership role in shaping large-scale, high-end township developments from concept to execution stage.

The role demands strong design vision, technical expertise, coordination capabilities, and the ability to translate global design standards into Indian regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

1. Master Planning & Urban Design
• Lead conceptualization and detailed urban design for large-scale luxury townships.
• Develop land-use strategies, zoning frameworks, and density planning.
• Design road networks, mobility systems, public realm spaces, and amenity clusters.
• Integrate sustainability, walkability, and smart city principles into planning.
• Prepare design guidelines and development control frameworks.

2. International Coordination
• Collaborate with international architects, urban designers, landscape consultants, and infrastructure planners.
• Ensure alignment of global design standards with local statutory norms.
• Participate in international design workshops and presentations.
• Review and coordinate consultant drawings, reports, and submissions.

3. Luxury Development Focus
• Plan high-end residential clusters, villas, branded residences, and mixed-use components.
• Create signature arrival experiences, boulevards, waterfronts, and premium public spaces.
• Develop design language consistency across the township.

4. Regulatory & Authority Coordination
• Work closely with statutory authorities for approvals.
• Interpret DCR, zoning regulations, and infrastructure norms.
• Coordinate with GIS, infrastructure, and environmental consultants.

5. Presentation & Documentation
• Prepare high-quality presentations for leadership, investors, and stakeholders.
• Develop 3D visual coordination with model-making and visualization teams.
• Prepare concept reports, urban design statements, and phasing strategies.

6. Team Leadership
• Mentor junior urban designers and planners.
• Coordinate with architecture, landscape, infrastructure, and development teams.
• Ensure timelines, quality control, and design consistency.

Job Expectations:

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Urban Design / Urban Planning / Architecture.
• 10–15+ years of experience in large-scale township or mixed-use developments.
• Proven experience working with international consultants or global design firms.
• Strong understanding of luxury real estate development.
• Experience in projects exceeding 50–100+ acres preferred.

 

Technical Skills
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino (preferred), Adobe Suite.
• Experience in GIS-based planning tools.
• Knowledge of sustainability frameworks and smart city principles.
• Strong documentation and presentation skills
