Job Title: Senior Architect –Liaisoning & Municipal Approvals

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Architect with strong expertise in licensing, liaisoning, statutory approvals, and municipal processes across India. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in end-to-end approval management and liaisoning with government authorities, ensuring smooth and timely clearances for projects, with a primary focus on Mumbai municipal regulations and exposure across Pan India authorities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage statutory approvals, licensing, and liaisoning activities for township and real estate projects.
• Act as the primary point of contact for liaisoning with government bodies, municipal authorities, and approval agencies.
• Handle approvals with BMC (Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation) and other Mumbai regulatory authorities.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with government officials, consultants, and liaison agents to facilitate approvals.
• Prepare, review, and submit architectural drawings, applications, and statutory documentation.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, DCR regulations, zoning laws, and state-specific guidelines.
• Manage approvals including environmental clearances, fire NOCs, airport authority, utilities, etc.
• Track, follow up, and expedite approval processes through effective liaisoning and coordination.
• Coordinate with internal design, legal, and execution teams for seamless documentation and compliance.
• Maintain updated knowledge of regulatory frameworks across multiple states in India.
• Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and audit readiness for all approvals and liaisoning activities.

 


Job Expectations:

Key Requirements:
• Strong hands-on experience in liaisoning with BMC and Mumbai municipal authorities is mandatory.
• Proven track record of handling end-to-end approvals through effective government liaisoning.
• Exposure to Pan India approval processes and multi-state regulatory environments.
• Experience in township or large-scale real estate projects preferred.
• Strong network and relationships with government bodies and approval authorities will be an advantage.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and architectural documentation tools.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.


Minimum Qualification:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch/M.Arch).

Minimum Job Experience:

Minimum 8–12 years of experience in licensing, liaisoning, and statutory approvals.
