Manager – Planning & Project Control

Location: Mumbai

Role Overview

The Manager – Planning & Project Control will be responsible for end-to-end planning, scheduling, monitoring, and control of multiple luxury township and infrastructure projects across Pan India. Based out of the Mumbai office, the role requires strong coordination with site teams, consultants, and leadership to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Scheduling
• Develop detailed project schedules, timelines, and milestones using planning tools.
• Create baseline programs and ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Prepare micro-level plans for design, procurement, and execution phases.

2. Project Monitoring & Control
• Track project progress against planned schedules and identify delays.
• Implement corrective measures and recovery plans to mitigate risks.
• Conduct regular reviews and present project status to senior management.

3. Coordination & Stakeholder Management
• Liaise with architects, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
• Ensure seamless communication between Mumbai office and Pan India sites.
• Support site teams in resolving planning and execution challenges.

4. MIS & Reporting
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
• Prepare dashboards, variance analysis, and progress reports.
• Highlight risks, bottlenecks, and critical issues proactively.

5. Cost & Resource Planning
• Assist in budgeting, cost tracking, and resource allocation.
• Monitor material, manpower, and equipment utilization.
• Ensure optimal use of resources to meet project timelines.

6. Risk Management
• Identify potential project risks and delays.
• Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
• Ensure adherence to timelines and quality benchmarks.

7. Tools & Systems Implementation
• Use project management tools like Primavera / MS Project / ERP systems.
• Drive digital planning and reporting practices across projects.
• Ensure data accuracy and real-time tracking.

 


Job Expectations:

Key Requirements
• Strong experience in handling multiple projects across different locations.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel-based reporting.
• Excellent analytical, coordination, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.

Preferred Skills
• Experience in luxury township or hospitality projects.
• Exposure to Pan India project execution.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and sequencing.


Minimum Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Management / related field.

Minimum Job Experience:

8–12 years of experience in planning and project control for large-scale or luxury projects.
