Job Title: Engineer – Planning & Controls

Role Overview

The Engineer – Planning & Controls will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and control of large-scale township and residential developments. The role requires strong coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery, cost efficiency, and adherence to project milestones.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Scheduling
• Develop detailed project schedules using tools like Primavera / MS Project
• Define work breakdown structures (WBS) for township and residential projects
• Establish timelines, milestones, and resource allocation plans

2. Monitoring & Progress Tracking
• Track daily, weekly, and monthly project progress against baseline schedules
• Identify delays, risks, and deviations; propose corrective actions
• Prepare progress reports and dashboards for management review

3. Coordination & Stakeholder Management
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and site teams
• Ensure alignment of planning with execution activities across multiple projects
• Support project teams with planning inputs and scheduling updates

4. Cost & Time Control
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking
• Monitor project timelines to ensure adherence to deadlines
• Support implementation of cost-control measures

5. Risk Management
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Conduct delay analysis and impact assessments
• Ensure proactive planning to avoid bottlenecks

6. Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain all planning-related documentation and reports
• Prepare MIS reports, project trackers, and presentations
• Ensure data accuracy and timely reporting

 


Job Expectations:

Key Requirements

• Prior experience in township / residential projects is mandatory

• Experience in luxury or large-scale developments will be an added advantage

• Proficiency in Primavera P6 / MS Project
• Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, and tracking
• Familiarity with construction methodologies and sequencing


Minimum Qualification:

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field

Minimum Job Experience:

3–7 years of experience in planning and project controls
