Job Title: Contracts Engineer – Residential Projects

Role Overview

Della Townships is seeking a Contracts Engineer with strong experience in residential construction projects. The role involves managing contractual, commercial, and procurement-related activities to ensure smooth execution of projects within defined timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

Contract Management
• Draft, review, and administer contracts, subcontracts, and work orders.
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms, specifications, and company policies.

Tendering & Procurement
• Manage end-to-end tendering process including RFQs, bid evaluation, and vendor finalization.
• Prepare techno-commercial comparisons and recommend award of contracts.

BOQ & Costing
• Assist in preparation and validation of BOQs, rate analysis, and cost estimates.
• Support cost optimization and value engineering initiatives.

Billing & Certification
• Verify contractor RA bills, final bills, and ensure accurate measurements.
• Ensure billing aligns with contractual terms and project progress.

Vendor Coordination
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and consultants for contract execution.
• Resolve contractual issues, variations, and claims efficiently.

Documentation & Compliance
• Maintain proper records of contracts, amendments, and correspondences.
• Identify contractual risks and ensure timely mitigation.

Skills Required
• Strong understanding of contracts, tendering, and procurement processes
• Knowledge of BOQ preparation, rate analysis, and cost control
• Good negotiation and communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel and contract documentation

Minimum Qualification:

B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering

Minimum Job Experience:

3–8 years of experience in contracts management for residential or township projects.
