Job Description:

Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

  • Maintain books of accounts and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
  • Prepare journal entries, payment vouchers, receipts, and accounting schedules.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
  • Perform bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations.

2. Taxation & Compliance

  • Assist in preparation and filing of GST returns and related reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with TDS provisions, calculations, deductions, and return filings.
  • Coordinate with consultants and auditors for statutory compliance matters.
  • Maintain records related to direct and indirect taxation.

3. Financial Reporting

  • Prepare monthly MIS reports and financial statements.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Assist in budget preparation and financial analysis.
  • Generate reports required by management from time to time.

4. Audit & Documentation

  • Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors.
  • Prepare schedules, supporting documents, and audit working papers.
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

5. Other Responsibilities

  • Assist in payroll accounting and employee reimbursement processing.
  • Monitor outstanding payments and follow up for collections.
  • Support finance team in various accounting and reporting requirements.
  • Perform any other finance and accounts-related duties assigned by the management.

Job Expectations:

  • Strong knowledge of Accounting, GST, TDS, and statutory compliances.
  • Proficiency in Tally, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Good understanding of financial statements and reconciliations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Hands-on exposure to audits, taxation, and financial reporting.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
  • Good communication and coordination skills

Minimum Qualification:

Batchelor’s in Commerce, Accounts, Finance, or a related discipline

Minimum Job Experience:

2–5 years of experience in a Chartered Accountancy firm or corporate finance function.
