Job Summary
The Mixologist is responsible for crafting high-quality cocktails, maintaining the bar, delivering exceptional guest service, and creating unique beverage experiences while ensuring compliance with hygiene, safety, and responsible alcohol service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as per standard recipes.
Create innovative signature cocktails and seasonal beverage menus.
Ensure consistent taste, quality, and presentation of all drinks.
Interact with guests, recommend beverages, and provide an exceptional dining experience.
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of the bar area.
Monitor inventory, minimize wastage, and assist in stock ordering.
Ensure proper storage and handling of spirits, wines, beers, syrups, and garnishes.
Comply with food safety, hygiene, and responsible alcohol service regulations.
Train junior bartenders and bar staff on beverage preparation and service standards.
Coordinate with the F&B and kitchen teams to ensure smooth operations.
Professional Certifications (Preferred)
Certified Mixologist/Bartender course from a recognized bartending academy.
WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) Level 1 or 2 (preferred for premium establishments).
Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification, where applicable.
Food Safety and Hygiene certification.
