About the role
Job Summary
Responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining Diesel Generator (DG) sets to ensure an uninterrupted power supply across the resort and its facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor DG sets as per operational requirements.
- Check diesel levels, engine oil, coolant, battery condition, and other operating parameters.
- Monitor generator performance and record daily readings in the logbook.
- Perform routine inspections and basic preventive maintenance.
- Identify abnormal noise, vibration, overheating, or other technical issues and report them to the Engineering team.
- Ensure proper fuel storage, handling, and consumption records.
- Follow all electrical safety procedures and emergency operating protocols.
- Coordinate with the Engineering team during power failures and maintenance activities.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in the DG room.
What we expect
Relevant technical certification or training in DG operations is an advantage.
