About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the complete Engineering & Maintenance operations of the resort.
- Ensure uninterrupted operation and maintenance of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, DG, STP, WTP, fire & life-safety systems, and other MEP services.
- Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
- Supervise engineering staff, contractors, and external service agencies.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, safety standards, licenses, and regulatory inspections.
- Monitor energy, water, fuel, and maintenance costs and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Prepare annual maintenance budgets, CAPEX proposals, AMC plans, and engineering reports.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, kitchens, staff accommodation, and back-of-house facilities.
- Coordinate with all HODs to resolve engineering-related operational requirements promptly.
- Maintain proper records of equipment, maintenance schedules, breakdowns, inventories, and AMC contracts.
- Ensure adherence to hotel engineering SOPs, fire safety standards, and emergency preparedness procedures.
- Lead emergency response for critical technical failures and ensure minimum disruption to resort operations.
